Western Jackson Heights: Utilizing Cultural Capital for Neighborhood Improvement looks at two planning issues affecting the area, namely the lack of affordable housing and public green space, with proposed solutions. The goal of this hypothetical “planning study” is to tap into the neighborhood’s cultural and historical resources to promote community development, while preserving affordability and diversity.
